Undyed, Cedar Mulch
Cedar Mulch is great for landscaping because it is dye-free and contains certain pesticide properties that repel insects. Cedar Mulch breaks down slowly because of its hardwood nature, which means you may not need to replace it as frequently as other mulches. It is very lightweight which allows air and water to easily move down to the soil and plants.
Cedar Mulch is also used as bedding in enclosed areas for livestock. The natural oils and scent of the cedar helps cut down and cover up the ammonia from the animal’s waste.
