This fine, smooth-textured mulch holds its color very well! It is a blend of wood and bark from a variety of hardwoods which are ground, screened, and dyed to perfection for your ease in spreading.
The fibers weave together and form a “mat” of sorts, which tends to prevent it from blowing away in the wind.
While a 3″ depth is recommended on bare ground, you could spread a thinner layer each year to keep your flower beds looking beautiful. Because of it’s fine texture, it will decompose and enrich the soil each year to maintain a healthy environment for your plants.
